As I sit in English Composition 1010, discussing my recent blogging assignment I've been given, I realized my reflection I submitted is relevant to my real blog. Our assignment was to define an abstract word that we felt was important to us. My word was independent. Contemplating my decision on what my definition of independent was helpful in showing myself how independent I really have become this last few weeks.
I've been brave enough to kill the bug crawling across the floor on my own. I've also don't my own laundry correctly and I've become more responsible in general. It's nice to see my own improvement and it motivates me to continue to develop as an independent individual.
