In less than a week I'll officially be out of my house and starting my life as an independent human being. Ok, well, the truth is I won't be totally independent. I'll be rooming in a dorm at a college that's only an hour from my house. It's still going to be the most independence I've ever had and I'm going to make sure my ups and downs are available for anyone who may be entering their own era of independence. I'll compose the do's and the don't's of the college lifestyle and discuss the life lessons and life hacks I may learn along the way. This college bound gal is going to help all and anyone who wants to take the time to check in and read my blog.
Independence is days away. I can almost taste it. I know it's going to be filled with emotions, such as being embarrassed by the fact that you've lived the last eighteen years of your life without doing your own laundry, or maybe the nervousness of knowing your mom isn't going to be there to nag you into studying for that test coming up. It's time to enter the real world. I know with patience and the knowledge I'm going to gain along the way, I'll be able to be a successful person in society. My journey to reach this goal is about to start on August 15th. Everything in life as I know it is going to change, and all I can say is bring it on.
